I'm 14 and i don't know if i'm going through puberty??

Question

My thing is about 3 or 4 inches long and i have pubes but not the amount that you would have if u went through puberty, i can sort of ejaculate but i don't have any armpit hair and my voice hasn't changed...

please answer!!?

If you have any pubes, you are in puberty, dude.  Probably have been for a year or more. Most guys' voices change very gradually, not really noticeable.

Puberty usually happens between the ages of 9 and 16. Many boys will notice changes around the age of 12 or 13. It's different for everybody. Puberty will start at the time that is right for each person.

Everyone will go through physical and emotional changes. Body chemicals called hormones make these changes happen. The male hormone is called testosterone.

Puberty for boys means changes like:

voice changes or breaks, eventually becoming deeper

hair growing under arms and in the pubic area

facial hair growing – some boys will start shaving

pimples for some boys

an increase in height, sometimes very rapid, called a growth spurt

shoulders and chest get broader

erections happen more often (p***s becomes hard)

sperm start being produced in the testicles

wet dreams can happen

awareness of sexual feelings in the body

mood swings

Some boys may like or dislike what is happening to their body, but puberty is a natural and normal process.

Erections

When a boy reaches puberty he may experience more frequent erections. This is a normal and healthy part of growing up. Sometimes erections may happen for no obvious reason and at an unexpected time or place such as at school, in a bus or when out with friends.

A good way to make unwanted erections go away or be less obvious is to:

think of something really boring

wear clothes that make erections less noticeable (eg, board shorts over swimming togs)

About s***n and ejaculation

Sperm are reproductive cells and are contained in a whitish fluid called s***n. At puberty, sperm begin to be produced in the testicles. Ejaculation is when s***n comes out of an erect p***s. Urine also leaves the body from the p***s (through the urethra), but never at the same time as s***n.

Your have entered puberty (congratulations, huzzah, etc.)  The lengthening of hair in your pubic area is usually the first sign.  The hairs in the area will continue to switch from short and fine to longer and coarser.  The proper name for your "thing" is your p***s, in case you don't know.  It's not a dirty word.  As you mature your p***s will become larger, especially its erect size, and the amount that you ejaculate will change and the s***n will take on its characteristic pearly-white color.  The appearance of hair under your arms and deepening of your voice will follow in due course.  You're on track.
