  1. It depends on what sort of job you want. Look in newspapers or go around the shops and see if they want people. At 14 there may not be many jobs you can do...always a paper round if nothing else

  2. Paper round.

It's one of the few jobs you're allowed to do at 14, unless your family runs a business then there are exceptions for working for them.

Some people will hire younger people as cashiers/etc but they're not allowed to so most won't.

  3. As far as I'm aware this isn't a job website. Go to the job center.

  4. How are you Lauren?

I'm not sure of your local area but give it all you've got!

Go in there confident but not cocky.

If you have a particular place in mind, do your research about what the business is about and it's history. This will impress the interview (potential boss).

Start small, if you think that the particular job might be boring or lame etc, It doesn't matter, you have to start some where... just work yourself up to what you are good at!

If you have already been employed before, just have a look at your strengths and use these to get you your new job.

If you are looking for a job that is really 'you', Work out what your passions have been for most your life. What have you enjoyed doing? (Are you better wiht your hands or your head), are you a people person, or behind the scenes. This may not help but I wish you all the best. Just remember to sell yourself but more importantly 'be your self'.  Hector

  5. you could start as a shelf stacker.

  6. How about starting in your own country? This is a U.S. board. That might help.

  7. monster.com

Get an account and submit your resume. Here is where you can also get some job ideas and possibly find job openings.

    and/or

create a resume (w/ or w/o a business or careers teacher at your school) and apply to basic jobs in your town

  8. i don't know that you'll be able to do much work at 14, people generally look for 16+

your best bet would probably be working for a family member, or if any of your friends have parents with businesses etc. maybe a local independent shop but other than that at 14.. i doubt many places would employ you. you can always ask though.

delivering flyers or a paper round are other options

  9. you can do this during free time for extra earning opportunity
