I'm going to California later this summer and I'm just wondering if I would enjoy Disneyland or should I skip out and head to Six Flags & Universal Studios instead?

Thanks.

  1. NO DISNEYLAND!!! GO. i recommend it TIMES 5 MILLION. lol. im your age, mature, and have been wanting to go forevverr. even though the last time i was there was last year. ((:

  2. At your age, I think you would enjoy Disneyland...it's not all little kid rides, you know.

  3. Heck yes!!! Disneyland was SOOO much fun!

  4. im 13 and i love disney ! it is so much fun for us teens. i suggest you go there. but if you go to six flags, they have a lot of freaky rollercoasters. and if your like me and not a big roller    coaster person. i suggest disney big time :]

  5. Go there!!!! I would really Love to go to disneyland!!! Do it while you can...its fun for all ages!  Not that I have ever been there myself, but I know people who have!

  6. If anything, skip out on Universal. Its only awesome attractions are The Mummy, Jurassic Park, the Terminator 2 3D show and Shrek 4D show.

So here's some advice and tips:

    1. At Six Flags. There are two Six Flags parks, one in Vallejo, Northern California, the other in Valencia, Southern California. The one in N California is part theme park part zoo with about 6 roller coasters. the one here in southern california has around 12-13. Best time to go is the week after the fourth of july, because mostly throughout the summer its pretty packed. Get there before the park opens to go on most if not all of the roller coasters and attractions. Must rides at Six Flags Magic Mountain (the one here in S California): X2 (get on this one first, its the big red and black roller coaster), Goliath (orange and slightly blue/teal coaster), Riddler's Revenge (located in the back of the park, color entirely green), Scream! (blue and purple coaster), Tatsu (light orange and red coaster, located on top of a mountain) and Batman The Ride (the smallest coaster of the park, its completely black and is located near Scream! and Collosus, the park's white colored-wooden coaster. You should ride on this when you feel you need to take a break from being constantly flipped over on all the other rides except for Goliath).

    2. Almost all of Six Flags Magic Mountain's roller coaster are best ridden at night. Goliath and Tatsu especially. X2 will close however before 5pm every day.

    3. Disneyland is a really, really big park. This is something you might want to spend 2-3 days on. Arriving before park opening is strongly advised. Get on the Finding Nemo! attraction first. Its beautifully themed and a lot of fun even for me, a 17 yr old. Other must rides at Disneyland:

    a. Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. This ride breaks down often, so be prepared to wait, but its well worth it. The cars jerk you around to apply the feeling of traveling over the broken pavements of a ruined temple and actually adds more t the thrill and fun.

    b. Pirates of the Caribbean and the Haunted Mansion. These two rides are single-handedly the most beloved and well known rides in California and Disneyland. Not riding on these two is NOT an option. Incredibly themed and very very enjoyable rides.

    c. The Train that takes you around the park and drops you off at stations in each section. While this may seem kinda wierd to ride just for fun, its a lot of fun to ride when you are waiting to get on another ride with a flashpass. There is a section before Grand Central Station and after Torrowland that makes the train less of a transportation and more of a real attraction.

d.Thunder Mountain Railroad. A very fun mine train roller coaster.

    e. The Matterhorn. Was the first steel roller coaster ever. a lot of fun as well.

I hope all this info helps :)

Also, Disneyland is more family oriented and is actually a lot more fun than Six Flags. But Six Flags is also a very fun and enjoyable park as well.

  7. yes its the greatest place ever. Every year my high school's senior class goes to grad nite at Disneyland! I went there for my grad nite and it never gets old!

  8. of course! DL rox! ;)

  9. oh boy you would love it! i went there when i was 14(15 now) i had so much fun! but good and candy cost alot lol

  10. Basically...it depends on who you go with I guess...

If you go with family...you'll probably want either Disneyland or Universal Studios.

If you go with friends...you should go to Six Flags or Universal Studios

But those are just my opinions

  11. you would love Disneyland no matter how old you are i go all the time and i see so many different aged people. OK i would so go to six flags if your a roller coaster fan. universal has some rides but this summer they came out with some new rides so it mite be more crowded but i would still go.

  12. Your never to young for Disneyland, it has a lot of theme to it. I've been over 15 times, and I'm still amazed of it!

Six Flags is a true thrill park, that teens love. Universal isn't as much, for it has a very small amount of rides.

I have a friend who is 16 years old who is still in love with Disneyland. Sometimes it just depends on how much of an imagination you still have! Disneyland is a true themepark with a lot of different types of rides.

It's crowded in the summer, but since you are going later, it will be a little more clear. It's a true adventure, have fun!
