I'm 15 and want to get my cartilage pierced.

I have been reading more into it lately and am kinda confused about the whole "not using guns issue"

I was just planning on going to claires to get it done.

also, about the pain, I don't really HAVE a high pain tollerance but I can take it if I truly want too.

Thanks for your time!

  1. barley hurts. but for a while dont sleep on that side of your head.

i dont know what the whole no guns thing is? but i did it myself (I dont reccomend) and I kept it clean and it was fine.

It's pretty much like all peircings. Keep it clean, Take good care of it.

If it gets infected take it out.

    clean it.

and maybe put it back in after the infection is over.

    :)

but it doesnt hurt that bad.

    ever been pinched?

remebr how it only hurt for a second?

the anticipation hurts worse. just dont freak or work yourself up.

    relax.

Claires is great, clean and safe.

  2. you should go somewhere and get it done with a needle its best.

    it doesn't hurt that bad.

and if it does hurt you, it only hurts for a second.

It's a little sore afterwards, but it's not like unbearable pain.

To be honest, i think my ear lobes hurt more than my cartilage, but that's just me.

  3. ITS SAFE TO USE A GUN FOR CARTILAGE I GOT MY

MY EARS DONE WITH THE GUN I GOT 3 ON EACH SIDE

ITS PAINLESS AND QUICK IT  JUST FEELS LIKE A PINCH IF EVEN THAT ...YOULL BE STRAIGHT

AND CLAIRS IS A GOOD PLACE TO GO OR PIERCING PAGODA

    GOOD LUCK

  4. i would do the needle. it hurts more while your doing it, but in the long run its better because the swelling goes down quicker and theres less chance of an infection

  5. Don't worry about the pain but get it done with a needle. Claire's is neither clean nor safe. Guns cause blunt force trauma by pushing a stud through the cartilage and can make it shatter. These links go into more detail and really are worth a read.

  6. When I got mine done, I got it done at Claire's, and I found that it hurt a little more than when I got my ears pierced, but not too much more. If you can take your ears being pierced, you shouldn't have a problem with the cartilage.
