I know that the account I'm interested in has a min deposit of $25.00 and I need to keep $200.00 in at all times or else I get charged $5.00. I'm saving up for a car and have $50.00 so far. (I do have more, but I split my money evenly so I have some to spend) Would it be worth depositing it or should I wait until I have more? Also, what kind of info do I need? I know I'll need my social security # and ID. Would a school ID and passport work? Also, do my parents need to come with me?

  1. Just two forms of ID, and your parents, they will co-sign your account, basically just too make sure you are responsible enough.  MOST banks actually add you to your parents account, so you will have your own division, but your parents have total access.  Again, depends on which bank
