  1. My cousin was 20 when she painted her room lavender and light green.

  2. i dont think thats possible....

  3. Idea #1: You can put different shades of purple all about. Like on the walls one shade of purple. Bedspread a white color (you can buy that at walmart, the stripy kind) . Pillows yet a different shade,( buy material you like and have them made...much cheaper than buying) and also get silver beads that are specially for pillows for the edges... Use mirrors (they are already basically silver and silver candleholders and frames. Throw in some dark red to break it up. See the pic...

Idea #2: You can do it like this picture. With wood furniture...a pop of color in the sheets. Always add white. It's soo crisp and kids normally don't have white on their beds.

Point is you don't really want silver all over the place because then it'll look like you're trying too hard. Just put some here and there like you put it there on purpose. Good luck!

  4. This would not look childish, in fact it would look beautiful- i watched HGTV one day and it showed a lady in her fiftys that painted her bedroom lavender, with silver at the bottom. Then she  made a upholstered white head board with the bed with a white comforter and she had really cute silver accents around the room, the room look Gorgeous at the end!

  5. i wouldnt do like a really light pastel purple or anything because that may give off a childish vibe. if you use a darker/medium colored purple it should look finee.

  6. My room is lavender and I'm your age. I really love it. It's actually proven to be the most relaxing color and if it's not too obnoxious of a color purple and not too pink looking, I'm sure that it will look fine. Lavender paired with white furniture and/or silver is really nice. I have a mini chandelier that gives my room an elegant feel I really like it.  Also, sheer white curtains on the windows looks amazing with lavender, it's my favorite part of my room.

    Good luck!!
