I'm 15 now and later plan on starting a travel agency, what high school classes should I take?!?

Starting my own travel agency sounds like an amazing job for me, since I love travel, planning, and organizing things. I need to find out now so I know what classes I will need to take in high school in order to work towards starting a travel agency. Obviously some business courses, but what else? I also need to know what college would be best for this plan. Anyone have any suggestions? thanks =)

Definitely foreign languages! You can broaden your job prospects around the world and any psych classes to increase your people skills.

You should take all your high school classes but concentrate on the ones which will be more useful to you in your future plans. It is good that you have a goal now, but that may change in the future.

You should master the basic subjects like math and english. If you want to start your own travel agency (and not just be an agent), then you need to study the business management courses as well as human resources. Be prepared however to study computer subjects because you might not need to talk to your customers personally. From the rate it is going now, it seems that all business transactions in the future will be done through the internet.

Just remember, the most important thing in life is having a goal and working towards it. Your goal might change in the future but it does not matter, you should just be willing to work for it.
