CONFIDENCE. And if you do really want it -- you need to set your heart on that and not let ANYTHING sto you or slow you down. It really coes down to your priorities and making your dream the top of those.

Last but not least...be yourself.

Worse case scenario, you don't make it, still, you have a WHOLE life ahead of you. Try next year or the Miss _(your state)_  pageant. If not, go to school and persue your dreams.

I have been a full time model for over 10 years.  The way I started was by finding a local modeling agency and doing small things around my city.  Also, you can mail in snapshots to the big agencies like Ford, Elite, Wilhelmina, IMG, etc.  They will contact you if they are interested.  And YES...they really DO look at the photos sent in.  I've spent many years in agencies.  Good luck!!

yes. you can become a teen model. models come in all shapes and sizes and ages. so you have a chance to become one.  Take pictures of yourself, done by a professional photographer. then build up a portfolio. research agencies and ask them if theyd be interested to view your portfolio. its also good to have a resume. But its always a good idea to go through a modeling class.
