I'm 16, is it possible for me to get a hotel room in paris?

me and my friend who is also 16 are going to paris this summer, but we want to get a hotel room instead of staying with somebody.

  1. Yes try hotels.com and look to see which accept 16year olds as i was there in jan.


  2. The age of majority in France is 18 so it might be a difficulty since hotels might be concerned about the legalities of their dealing with you directly. Renting a hotel room is a type of contract and minors cannot make legally binding contracts in most situations.

    I suggest that you have a parent make arrangements with whatever hotel you choose and discuss with the management the fact that you will be there by yourself and unsupervised by a legal adult. Under those circumstances I think a hotel might be willing to accept you.

  3. Maybe you could try a hostel. If you are open to that. Very inexpensive.
