I'm 16 and I'm trying to get a government ID card for...?

...a couple of peircings. I know I need my social security card and a FL legal birth certificate but is there anything else I need to know? I'm getting my tounge and my belly peirced and I'm tired of running this wild goose chase. Thank you so much for your help

Skip the tongue, it's really bad for your teeth.

You probably just need your birth certificate or a driver's license or a passport. Look on line for the registrar of your county and give them a call. You might need ID to get a copy of it. Also, there's probably a fee of $10 or so.

The Social Security Administration issues SS cards. You need to go on line, ssi.gov to find your local office, then bring your birth certificate there to get a copy.
