I always feel bad. Suicide always is on my mind. At first I just hated my stomach now I hate every part of my body. I don't know why I'm like this. Somtimes I'm happy but when I'm not busy I'm always sad. Is this depression

  1. Always be positive and touch with your close friend

  2. dude listen to me!

i was you for like the last 2 years of my life

but now i'm starting to see the light of day and i'm starting to make a change!

i used to sit and cry and put myself through h-e double hockey stick

but then now i'm starting to see if i keep sitting in my room crying with the windows closed i'm only hurting myself, so i started to get out and i started to be so much more happier & i'm starting to change what i don't like about me.

& yes if you feel bad and think about suicide you sound depressed

    suicide isn't a good option

believe it or not you are an extraordinary person

that needs to be a part of this world cause you are here for a reason

don't let others tell you different!

go to a school counselor they can talk to you

or talk to a friend , if you want to you can even send me an email

anyways i hope you feel better & stop thinking like that

    good luck

    & peace be with you

  3. Yes, I would say that you are probably depressed. I would have your parents look into a counselor for you right away. You need someone to talk with, listen, ask questions. They'll be able to help find the root of what you're dealing with. Hang on. Don't give up.

  4. Depression is a very real and dangerous thing.  It is extremely common among teenagers.  With counseling, you might understand why you have such a tough time with feelings that everyone gets.  Suicide may sound romantic or something, but that is selfish - think of those who love you - and no, you will not get to see people cry at your funeral.  Don't drink alcohol or use drugs, especially when you're sad.  These make the suicidal tendencies worse.  When you start feeling better, you are glad you are still alive.  It may help to join an organized group for teens with the same problem.  What helps me is when I can do or say something to help other people.  It makes me forget about myself, and feel useful.  Being busy helps, too.  Be careful about hanging out with negative people. You can get sucked in further to negative thoughts.  There are alot of happy, successful people who have battled depression and some, like me, who still do.  Hang in there.  You'll do fine.  I know, because you asked this question. Look at the really good things about yourself.  Don't be fooled by movies or magazines or people who think they know how everyone is supposed to look.  That perception is not real.

  5. it may be depression.. it may also be PTSD... or body dysmorphia.

the fact that you have suicial ideation (thoughts of suicide) on a frequent basis means that you should talk to someone.

you mention that when you keep yourself busy, you feel okay.. but when you are not busy, you feel 'sad'... this indicates possible post trauma. people who have experienced trauma (or vicarious trauma) have a tendency to busy themselves (hobbies, work, school, creating drama in their personal lives) because when they are busy or distracted - they don't think about their past or themselves...

regardless of all this --you should talk to your family doctor -- or a counsellor at school. you need the help of a professional - not a friend.

    take care and good luck.
