I'm 16..and i think I might be pregnant...?

Question

I'm only 16, I think I could be pregnant.

And I really odn't know what to do here..

The guy who could be "the father" broke up with me,

we're not really talking. (Duh.)

I CAN'T go to my mom, or dad.

Don't even go there..It's totally out of the question.

I don't know how to get ahold of a pregnancy test, I don't

have a car yet, I can't just get one without my mom noticing.

And I don't have any friends who can go get me one.

(They don't have cars either)

What do I do??

Get a test.That is all you CAN do.

Take responsibility for yourself and ask your mother.

She will be pissed but hey, you are the one that had s*x!

She will get over it.

do u know when ur last period was ? try to see if ur late if u can't get a test

but cant u and ur mom go to walmart or somethin and just seprate and buy it and take it

but until ur sure then I dont think there is a need to tell her

you have to talk to your mom, bc down the road it will only get harder to hide what will you do hide the baby in the dresser every day from her as well -- be reaslistic

You could walk to the dollar store and get a test.

Why did you have s*x without protection if your not ready for a baby??

Well your going to have to tell your parents sooner or later. They will find out trust me if you are pregnant. And forget about the father..

The first thing you need to do for sure is take a pregnancy test. Work out how late you are on your period, i think you can take a test 4 days before your expected pregnancy, but it depends on which make you get. There must be some way of either buying one, or going to a clinic,without your parents finding out. Say you are staying at a mates..going shopping..etc. Make sure you take the test carefully and dispose of it somewhere your parents will not look.

If the results of your test come back negative then in future BE MORE CAREFUL! prehaps get yourself on the pill if you are having a regular s*x life?

If the results are positive then i would encourage you to speak to your parents, it is not something that will go away or something you can easily hide. If you made the choice to not keep the baby then seeing how much trouble it is for you to get a pregnancy test, i can't see how you would be able to go to the doctors to discuss your options either.

It would be good to confide in someone you trust, and let the father know if you feel you can trust him too.

Go to your school nurse, they carry the tests and can be very resourceful for you!  That's what I did when pregnant at 16

There has to be a way you can get to your local health department or drug store to get a test....you obvioulsy found a place to have s*x without your parents detecting it, use that same ingenuity.
