no you dont need to be on the pill it is totally normal. I originally had my period at 10 and had it like 6 times then it stopped for like 3 years and now i got it again at 14.

Depends on your body but usually the pill helps regulate your periods. You may have to try a few different brands before you find one that works satisfactory, but most likely it will help.

Yes, For me it helped a lot. Makes it come at the same time every month and last the same amount of time every month. I love it... just talk to your doctor about what would be the best pill for you there are so many... If you get really moody or lots of cramps ask about YAZ it works well for me!

I got my first period when I was 12 and started the pill at 18. My periods were a bit irregular, like anywhere between 28 and 38 days. Yes, the pill fixes it, just ask your doctor. They can give you a lower does than for birth control and it will make you regular and also help with any pain you may be experiencing.

The pill or the depo shot will help you become regular..however I am about to tell you what my mom told me;  until you have s*x on a regular basis,(and I hope you will wait until you are ready), your cycle will not be even.  When you get as old as I am, this still holds true.  Ask your doctor or any female your comfortable with...I'm not lying...

yeah you should try the pill, my period was fine for 2 years but i became vey active, changed my diet, sleeping, and stress levles, and i didnt get it for almost 2 years! i told my doctor and she recently put me on the pill to regulate it, it helped alot and i got my period the week it said i should. its good to start at 16 so if you do have s*x you will have back up.
