I need the following items in a book: a love story, suspense and a girl narrating it. I love and read the Twilight Saga, so are there any stories like them?

  1. Les Miserables - Victor Hugo

    Grapes of Wrath - Steinbeck

  2. it isnt exactly a girl narrating it, but it's a really good book, and it's filled with suspense.

    The Pact, by Jodi Picoult

    or

Nineteen Minutes, by Jodi Picoult as well.

  3. Wicked Lovely by Melissa Marr

Blood and Chocolate by Annette Curtis Klause

A Certain Slant of Light by Laura Whitcomb

  4. A room of one's own - Virginia Woolf

umm, go with any "chick lit" you can find

  5. I love the Twilight Saga as well and have been looking at books that go along those lines of love, suspense, etc. as well. I'm reading Jane Eyre at the moment and it has me hooked so much! It's from a young girl's narration and is about love. Both come from a different place in society and with their differences in wealth... the man's name is Edward too... lol! =) http://www.amazon.co.uk/Jane-Penguin-Cla...

Then, Pride and Prejudice is great too! Stephenie Meyer said that Twilight was loosely based around it. It's mostly about how you can misread a person upon false allegations. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Pride-Prejudice-...

I've read a book called Tamar by Mal Peet before. It's about (my outline's a little rough because I read this quite a few years ago, but remember it because I loved it) a girl who searches for her past and discovers interesting things (I better not say too much). It's set in the Second World War and hops from present to past; there's also betrayal. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Tamar-Mal-Peet/d...

There's also Wuthering Heights. I loved that, especially once it got into the interesting relationship. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Wuthering-Height...

Hope I helped! =) On Amazon if you look up books you already like, it also says books that other people have bought that have bought that book < confusing sentence! Also, things that they would recommend you. =)
