I'm 16 and terrified. Could I be pregnant?

Im 16 years old and have been dating a guy on and off for about 11 months now. When my parents found out that I had s*x with him they told me I'm not allowed to see him (I still do) and they set me up to go on birth control. I started Loestrin24Fe (my birth control) on June 12th and haven't missed a single day. The last period I got was from June 12-18 and it's now august 10. On july 21 my boyfriend and i started having s*x without a condom for about 15 seconds, then he put on a condom and we kept going. 4 days ago i thought i got my period but it didnt even last for the day. I dont know how to explain the way I'm feeling, but between my hips i've just been feeling really tight (not like getting abs from working out) and i'm just really scared. i cant talk to him about it because he is convinced the reason i'm late is because im on birth control, and i cant talk to my parents because they honestly would beat me if they knew. I dont know what to do, and I just feel like im running out of time to make decisions. someone please help me. am I pregnant???

You need to wait a few more days to see if your period comes on. If it doesn't you need to take a pregnancy test! As hard as it may be you need to tell your parents. If you were taking the pill at the same time everyday you shouldn't be pregnant. I was on the pill for 8 yrs without a pregnancy!

take a pregnancy test but some birth control can make you have very light periods or no periods at all but just in case take a test

If you are taking your birth control you should be fine. However, there is still a slight chance you could get pregnant. If you are this concerned you should definitely take a test. Until then try not to freak out. I know you don't want to hear this but until you are old enough to have a baby(even by accident) maybe you should not have s*x.

Your boyfriend should be using a condom too because people have gotten pregnant just using birth control. It does happen take a pregnancy test.

Are you pregnant? Maybe, maybe not.  Seriously, your parents put you on birth control because they already know you will not stop seeing your BF and expect that at least if and when you do, at least by taking the pill the chances are less that you could get pregnant.  Now, as for your gut feelings, your taking a new drug that physically, emotionally, and biologicaly changes how you will feel ( bloated)  Stress, guilt, shame, and all the other things in your life added to this causes your body to act different.  There is no simple solution. Go see a doctor, ask questions to a medical professional, learn about all the side effects from taking this drug.

I dont think your pregnant birth control and cause you to have irregular periods. but just to be sure take a buy pregnancy test. or go to planned parenthood its free they will give you a preg. test

I think it could be because you only just started birth control. The same thing happened to me and my body. I would get a pregnancy test just to make sure. It should be fine ;)

I have a better idea than taking a test....stop having s*x and then you wouldn't have to worry about stuff like this. you know how scared you are if you have to tell your parents, why doesn't that fear keep you from making the mistake. If you can't talk to "daddy" you would be on your own. stop doing it!!

Dear clam down...bc can make you short or miss...stress a lot of things....But if he was only in there for about 15 seconds then i dont think you are...If he got off in 15seconds you need a new man....Just go to your parents and tell them that the bc is messing up and go to the doctor

You might be pregnant. Take a pregnancy test to find out. If the test says you are see a doctor, but I suggest using a condom, or not have s*x. Your parents could be mad at first if your pregnant, but they could change their attitudes when they see their grandkind (if your going to keep the baby and if your pregnant). Please if your pregnant don't get an abortion. But then again, since your on birthcontrol you probably might be getting cramps or something and you could be fine.
