  1. take some ibuprofen and make sure you have neosporen to put on it later, because you need to keep it moist.

If you seriously want this done I would make sure its legal in your country first. And make sure you get something tattooed that's important to you, not something random. Also, what are you planning on doing for a job later in life? It might not be such a good idea to get one on your wrist if you're going to have a corporate or teaching job.

If you really, really want to get it done though, I say go for it.

  2. it will hurt, that is a sensitive area, if you really want it, then pain will be worth it

  3. it hurts on the inner wrist, but for what you want, it should be over quickly.  i'm assuming you want 3 outlined stars, and not 3 fully shaded in stars.  i'd bet it would take less than 30 minutes.  shading on the wrist will hurt more than other places since the skin is thin and a very sensitive area of the body.  don't let the pain stop you though.  your tattoo is permanent and the pain is only temporary.

i'm not sure how it works out in bulgaria, but if you were in the states, you would not be able to get tattoo'ed at 16.  being only 16, i'd suggest that you really think about it before you ink yourself.  make sure the design looks right to you and the artist is reputable.  more experienced artists will hurt less.  if they try pressuring you into getting it done, just walk away.  no good tattoo artist will pressure you.  they'll always let you take your time to decide if it's right.  also make sure the studio is clean, that they are licensed and that they are using brand new needles and clean tattoo machines.

DO NOT USE NEOSPORIN!  someone above me posted to use this on your tattoo.  DO NOT USE IT!  it will cause your tattoo to fade in the healing process.  regular orange DIAL soap should be used to keep the area clean, and a fragrance-free lotion should be used to top it.  i use Curel and every one of my tattoos has healed perfectly.  you can read up on this if you don't believe me.

    good luck!!

  4. You know, I don't want to discourage you from a tattoo. I have some myself..I even wanted one on my wrist and foot.

My boyfriend gave me some good advice one day when we were talking about this. He said, what if you find this great job but they won't let you work there because the uniform shows your wrist and you aren't allowed tattoos? Or what if you go to this nice dinner party and you tattoo is showing, you don't look so classy anymore? He made a good point. A lot of people get discriminated because of tattoos (mainly the ones that can be seen). Maybe you would like to think of a place that might be able to be covered up easier. Unless, 25 years from now you would like to be covering you tattoo up with makeup everyday because of work.

    Good luck though!!!

  5. i guess it hurts more than say your upper arm, becuase it is so sensative around there.

and ahh iwant two little stars on my inner wrist tooo :)!

    legall age is usually 18

  6. First off, you should make completely sure that the artist you are going to use is licensed. If they aren't, bad things could happen -- disease, infection, etc...second, I know that different places have different ages. Here in the states, its 18, and there are rules in place for a reason.

They also won't do anything to 'numb' it up. Thats just not gonna happen. My wrists [both of them] were one of the most painful spots for me, aside from my ribs. Everyone is different, but thats just my personal exp. and I have 10 tattoos and am soon going back for a full sleeve and entire back piece.

Just some things to take into consideration
