  1. I wouldn't hire you. But then again I work in the adult entertainment industy.

  2. No.  A lot of teenagers work at a lot of places - stores, fast food, etc.

  3. Not really, depends wherre your applying.

  4. Everybody has to start somewhere. If a job asks for certain criteria that you can't forfill then you most likely won't be the ideal candidate. However, they cannot discriminate you by age/s*x. Go for it, you have as much right as anybody else to get the job. Aslong as your willing to learn. You'll be fine

  5. depends places like mc donalds will hire and stuff but if you dont have experience then they might not hire you besides to get a job these days you have to know some one

  6. most people at 16 never had a job before...mainly because it's not legal to employ someone under the age of 16(hasn't stopped some people but you will find that the average 16 year old has not had a job before). So don't worry about your experience. As far as a 'good' job hiring you well it depends on your definition of good. Because of the fact that it's not legal for anyone under 16 to have a job you won't have experience to be hired to say be C.E.O. of a major corporation, which most people would define as a pretty good job. But places that would hire you; grocery stores, restaurants, fast food places, basically anything in the mall these may not be good for say a 30 year old but are perfect for a 16 year old and they would hire you.

  7. I'm George W. Bush, and I have a little to say about jobs in America. The middle east has been stealing our jobs and taking them to the middle east, and therefor we will declare them terrorists. Ready the nukes.

  8. At 16, you're only going to be able to work part time anyways and no one really expects you to have any work experience because you're 16.

Just try to be enthusiastic and flexible.

  9. No i doubt it company's are always looking for young enthusiastic people, you have to remember that once many of them would of been in the same situation as you, and most of them are eager to give you a start in life I mean... everyone needs to start somewhere I wouldn't worry about not having experience, when i was 16 I got my first job in a retail store without having previous experience handling cash or dealing with customers but I guess I learn quick and was given a full time job. You just need to put yourself out their when applying for jobs because in most cases you will be competition with older people who may have experience which I guess is more employable than someone who doesn't, but it all depends on where your applying too. Anyhu... Good luck!

  10. Don't expect to be hired as CEO  of Pepsico, but everyone has to start somewhere.

    Good luck!

  11. Not many employers expect you to have much or any job experience at that age. But then again that doesn't mean the employers are going to overlook your lack of experience. It is what it is, and most likely will mean that you wont be considered for jobs where the experience is a needed.

Jobs in retail or restaurants would be a good first step to start.

  12. Getting a job is the best scenario, because you get paid $$$$$. However, if you are having trouble finding a job, think of finding a place you can volunteer to gain experience. My granddaughter volunteered at a nursing home for senior citizens, and now she has a paying job at the same place. You might not get hired at the same place, but a good record of volunteering, always being there when you've promised to be there, can get you some very good personal references.

  13. a good job.... depends on what your looking for...

at 16 you should probably start off at a grocery store or a thrift store.

keep a good record, meaning dont call in, and stay for a while...

  14. *sarcastically* You are going to walk into the interview, shake hands with the interviewer, and sit down in an uncomfortable chair. The interviewer will fire off questions to you about your past. Then, the interviewer will play a surveillance tape of you and your friends hanging out as a means to show you that you cannot do the job without messing around. Then, the interviewer will start to drill you. You will be told how worthless you are and that you cannot possibly keep a job due to your "lack of experience". You will then be advised to see a therapist for your "delusions in relation to working as a (job title) at (name of business)". You will then walk out in tears.

*nicely* As you can plainly see by the above sarcasm, there isn't anything to worry about. Don't worry about the interview. It's just a competition in the big game of Life. Does it really matter if you lose? If you fail, then THEY have lost. They have lost someone who probably would've done a much better job than the so-called "professional". I hope this helps to ease your thoughts about your first job interview.

  15. No, i really don't think it affects your future hiring, let alone at that age. You don't really have to work at that age. In my opinion, you will have ENOUGH work during the rest of you lifetime. Right now you can relax and enjoy yourself, work is inevitable in the future. in the FUTURE, not now

    peace

  16. Most places won't even hire a person until they are 16.  You will have to get an entry level job to gain experience.  Most places look for either a degree or equivalent experience.  You will most likely have the best chance of getting a job in fast food, grocery store, department store, Wal-Mart, etc.  If you are reliable and work hard you will start gaining credibility and can build a good resume.

  17. it cant help you or harm you really
