I'm 16 & pretty athletic & 5'5" what should I weigh?

Athletic as in, I run track for spring & a little of winter season & train before then.

  1. Well for 5'5 the average weight is like 130, but if your athletic 140 is ok too, depends on how much muscles you have


  2. i'm roughly your size, age 17, standing at 5'4" and i do track too.  my weight fluctuates fromm 100-107 throughout the year and i'm around 106 when track rolls around.  

    i think you're perfectly fine.  you don't need to weigh any less/more than you already do.  you're in healthy shape so don't stress about it

  4. Height weight charts don't mean much. What is important is your body fat percentage.

    If you are active, exercise and eat healthy then you will weigh what you should weigh.

    Don't focus on your weight, focus on living healthy.

    I understand that young girls have body image issues, but what is healthy is to have confidence in yourself and realize you don't need someone else to tell you if you are normal, pretty or worthwhile.  

  5. If you still weigh 110 then according to your BMI you are almost perfect, but a little under weight. A lot of runners are a little thin so just don't lose any weight and keep eating!

  6. Don't really too much on these charts. The true test is what you see in the mirror. Do you need to toe up, tighten up or do some major work
