I barely reach the 100 mark and I'm sick and tired of being so skinny and I worry being this skinny forever. What can I eat that's going to make me gain some more weight and have a more attractive body? (including foods and excercise) get me at least 110-120 pounds? Anything specific, also I'm considering going to GNC and getting ultragain protein shakes? Is this a good idea, and will it help me? Also if I take these protein shakes is it a good idea to also excercise such as running on the treadmill or will this just get me skinnier, or will it tone me up and how much should i drink it and when can i expect to see results? What can i eat for breakfast, like what kinds of foods like cereals, and for lunch, and for dinner? Do cereals with fiber make you fat? Should I start drinking milkshakes and ice cream? please help i'm so lost and i know i should eat alot but don't know what and i don't know how or where to start! i'm lost! please help! =[

  1. It would help us answer your question if you would tell us your gender.

Anyways, I have a similar problem, not as sever, I am also underweight for my age. I simply cannot put pounds on. You should see a doctor of course, but could it be that your just very short?

  2. You might want to talk to your parents or your doctor before you panic about your weight.  I was in a similar situation in high school and whenever I tried to gain weight, my body overcompensated for the added fat and calories and I ended up loosing weight.  I do find it refreshing that you see yourself as being UNDERweight rather than falling into the trap of a lot of girls your age and trying to loose as much weight as possible.

Keep in mind that I'm 29 years old, 5 feet tall, and weigh just over 100 pounds.  There's nothing wrong with being small or skinny as long as you're still healthy.  Rather than changing your habits with the intent to gain weight, change your habits with the intent to be healthier.  If you happen to gain weight in the process that's fine.  But make your focus being healthy, not heavy.

  3. try this out.

    hope it helps

  4. Okay well first off you didn't even mention your height which would of helped but I would say that you should try eating about 5-6 meals a day- and make them all around 400 calories. Yes- shakes will work as long as they have a lot of calories. I am suggesting that you don't go off and try to get calories by eating c**p like chocolate bars and stuff but try to be healthy and eat fruits and a lot of protein. if you were me then I could gain that weight so easily! remember you are lucky that you are not trying to lose it cause thats a h**l of a lot worse!
