I'm 17, from the Uk, how do I get involved in an international work exchange programme?

Im 17 and from England and NOT in education. I've heard of these exchange programmes where you can go abroad to work for a while as part of a programme. I wondered what people recomended? Also so far I've only seen ones for 18 years olds, are there any for 17 year olds?

I'm open minded as to which country, though America would be amazing.
