  1. 1. Get a checking and a savings account at the bank of your choice.

    2. Sit down with a bank manager and ask them how can I establish credit with the bank.

    3. One way is to have a co-signer on a small ($500) personal loan.

    4. Or you can save $500 and ask the bank to deposit your $500 to use as collateral for a $500 personal loan. Then pay the loan back. You could even do this with several banks. Use the loan proceeds from bank 1 to open an account that you use as collateral for a personal loan from bank 2.

    5. You pay back the money on time thats how you build good credit.

    To your prosperity

  2. Try and apply for a loan at your bank and ask for a credit card at the same time.

  3. First get a credit card, you can get credit card with no credit.  First PREMIER Bank Centennial Gold MasterCard®/Visa

  4. there are two ways you could start credit one or them is taking out a small personal loan which you might need a parent or an adult to co-sign for you meaning if you do not pay the loan they will. Or you could apply for a credit card for bad or no credit which most likely will get you approved no matter what, but if you are a student you could get a student credit card which will offer you lower rates and no annual fees, check out www.fastcreditcardapprovals.com and go under bad or no credit or student cards. good luck

  5. Totally feeling you dude. I'm 18 too, and i can't get  a freakin credit card. What I did though is applied for one at my bank like a debit card, and had my parents co-sign. so they gave me one. And that builds up credit cuz it also has the mc or visa logo on it. Or you can open up a loan and make all the payments on time. Although thats more complicated.

Some banks also have special college student cards that you might be able to get too..
