I'm 18 and I would like to go on The Pill, but how can I get it without my parents?

I'm 18 years old and a virgin. I've been with my current boyfriend for a pretty long time and I want him to be my first. I would feel more comfortable being on birth control before I have s*x, but I can't bring myself to tell my mom I'm having s*x because I don't know what she would say and I don't want either of my parents to know. How am I able to get birth control without my parents and their insurance? I don't want them getting a bill in the mail and find out. Also I'm going away to college soon and I don't have that much money to spend, so will The Pill drive me broke?

  1. your 18 years old you are legally an adult you don't need you parent any where. you can go alone.

the pill could drive you broke it ranges from $15 - $200

depending on you want the pill patch, or shot or if you want brand name or generic.

go to this site to do research.

    http://www.plannedparenthood.org/health-...

  2. dont have s*x before marriage

  3. you're 18 a legal adult so you can do whatever the h**l you want, also if you need a cover up just say your period is getting irregular and you want to keep a pattern (because that's one of the many things birth control can do)

  4. Go to your local planned parenthoood. Or to your doctor. They can give it to you there.

  5. first I think they may taken back a little, but they would appreciate you being responsible and also admire the fact that you came to them.

second at 18 you don't need your parents permission

  6. your 18 you can do it if you have the money adn an insurance card. No insurance? go to planned parenthood

Planned Parenthood gives you 6 months of birth control and it's only like $40

  7. your 18 do it yourself, your a grown up now , parents cant tell you what to do and you dont ask there permission anymore

  8. its called planned parenthood.  look one up on the computer for a local one near you.  they will help you and you don't need insurance.

  9. go to your family planning clinic and tell them and they will check that you are in the right health

then give you enoguh for 3 months just in caseyou dont react well to it

tell you the risks, advantages, advatagesa re rather good

and then if all is good will give u 6 months perscription an dif not try a defferent contracption pill

    hope i helped

    :)

  10. planned parenthood aint gonna tell her *** ,hey u r legal age to do as you like.atleast you are protecting yourself from unwanted pregnancy, thats smart! thumbs up young lady, its a good investment a baby will make you broker

  11. You dont need permission..you are an adult.

  12. i don't see nothing wrong with your parents knowing that you want to go the doctor for bc pils. if anything i would think they'd be proud of you knowing that you're trying to protect yourself.

  13. Well since you are now officially an adult, there should be no parental consent needed.  What you could do is go to the closest free clinic or the closest Planned Parenthood center.  They keep everything private, and The Pill won't cost as much money there.
