  1. Why is that bad?  Its not.  Just live it up at 18 (its a great age) and seize the day.  Tomorrow's never promised.  It could be a good time to travel.

  2. Honey... what do you like to do??? what are your interests???? find something FUN and exciting... it will pay off, I promise!!!  do what u love!!!

  5. Ever thought of the Military?

  6. I'm 47 and don't know what to do with my life yet.

  7. Nope. It's perfectly normal. You still have a few years to figure things out...- So don't worry.  :)

  8. I'm 19 and I don't either

    but I don't suggest the military<=/

  9. No.

    If you feel that you have no direction and would like to either be motivated or get motivated I suggest the following.

    US Military:  Pick a branch.  I guarantee you they will motivate you.  If you have a high school diploma and good grades you should have a decent choice of careers.  The majority of the people in the military are trained with skills that would serve you well after your service 2-6 years depending on the branch of service.

    I know it is not an easy choice to think about but believe me they will give you the discipline you want to motivate yourself.  It will change your life in a good way.

    I felt like I was in the same situation as you at that age.  Today I run a large company.  The Army gave me the discipline I need to get out there and just do it.  When I started with this company I started at the very bottom.  What I found was I had the edge and hunger to get things done.  This came from the Military.  I spent 4 years in Europe on the Government plan.  Trust me, the longer you wait the more set in your ways you will be.

    You don't need to know what you want to be in life.

    What you need to do is be curious and just get out there.  The answer will come to you.  You will eventually settle into something you enjoy and prosper.

  10. No, it will come to you in time.

  11. Not too bad, you're still pretty young.

    But it's good that you're giving it some thought.  Finding something to do that might enjoy for years to come - something that earns enough to live comfortably - is complicated, to say the least.

    And 'living comfortably' will probably have more significance later on.  Things change.  I'm sure that your wants & needs are much different at 18 than they were at 8.  This process doesn't stop (for most people).  28, 38, & 48 are coming, at 1 second per second.

    Now please excuse me while I get off my high horse.

  12. I hope you wake up before your 65th birthday.
