I'm 19, would the peace corps accept me?

i'm a student, speak 2 languages, but i can only offer physical labor. i'm not a hard partyer and i'm nice and polite, so i would be a good ambasitor for this country.

  2. It depends, your definatley the age they're looking for, but the application process is tough. You might as well try because it seems like you'd have a good chance.

  3. They need more than nice people -- they need people who have expertise that is needed in the developing world. Local people can be hired for physical labor, thereby allowing them to support their families. Most PeaceCorps volunteers have at least undergrad degrees; those who don't have a skill that is very much needed in a particular area of the development world.

  4. Your chances of getting in at 19 are small.

    92% of all PCV's have a degree. The other 8% have 10 - 50 years of experience.

    Good intentions are not enough. You need a skill that a host country has asked for.
