  1. Kudos to you!  Good luck with your GED!

Don't worry about your physical shape, the army will train you and you will get into shape then.

Besides, if you have any questions, just ask the recruiter.

If you are worried about it, just be sure to eat healthy and work out.  Get plenty of rest and sleep at night.  Stay away from things are not healthy.

    You'll do just fine!

Be very proud of yourself!  Getting your GED and joining the Army!  Way to go!

    All the best to you!

  2. For the most part, as long as you can pass a standard physical and perform within reasonable expectations in a few physical tests you can get in. Mostly the physical requirement for entry into military service is to be in reasonable health with no major structural damage(bad knees, ankle or back.) Boot Camp will take care of any minor physical inadequacies.

  3. If you can do 60% all all event and lose about 15-20lbs.  I believe 50% on all event is the req to pass BCT.  60% is the standard when you are at your unit.  190lb is consider overweight and you will need to be tape.

  4. keep a food journal or something to write on , then study what you have been eating. replace the bad food with good food. excercise atleast30mins a day, for adults, the more the better. if you go out alot to eat at steakhouses or fast food returants,if, dont do that. try eating less stuff like greasy and food with lots of sauce. 5 fruits or vegetbbles a day a day..a good jog in the morining helps.
