  1. well i am 20 and i was 170 pounds after i stopped breastfeeding...and i just lost 30 pounds in 6 months...and the only skin looseness i have is from being pregnant...so you shouldn't have any problems if you haven't had a baby yet...just don't lose weight to fast and use a collagen producing/restoring lotion...I have been using Vaseline Intensive rescue lotion...even though it is after the fact for me....it is still working for me and it is even reducing the appearance of my stretch marks too.

  2. If you loose weight too fast, you will have extra skin.

  3. Certainly as long as you loose weight at a steady pace, saggy skin won't be a problem.  I once lost 50lbs and it wasn't an issue at all.  And by the way, I'm in the same boat...I went from 120lbs to 165lbs in 14 months.  I'm definitely trying to lose it again.  Good luck!

  4. Highly and extremely doubtful that a 45 pound weight loss at your age will produce excess skin.

Eat right, exercise, and enjoy your weight loss as it happens, and don't worry about the possibility of excess skin...ain't gonna happen.

  5. Don't lose the weight too fast of it will sag. Aim for only a 1-2 pound loss per week and make sure you are exercising and weight lifting to tone your body up. Also, you want to MOISTURIZE your body by applying lotion ALL OVER after each time you bather and also any time your skin feels dry. Feel free to contact me if you need any support or encouragement while you're losing your excess fat!

  6. If you take your time losing weight and exercise frequently, then no you won't have excess skin.

Since you're only losing 45 pounds, that's not nearly enough for there to be excess skin.

But just remember to take your time and eat healthily, don't do any crash diets or starve your body.

I'd recommend 45 minutes of cardio a day followed with 30 minutes of strength training.

Remember to stretch your body before and after exercising.

Eat small, frequent meals every 2-3 hours throughout the day.

  7. It won't sag, but you'll be able to stretch it and scare people. Generally your stretch marks will become less noticeable.

  8. Don't worry about it.  I lost 70 pounds a few years back.  I didn't have any sagging skin.  Just lose your weight gradually and exercise.
