  1. Well, start by enrolling in a few classes at a jc. At the very least, you can get your general education out of the way while you figure out what you want to do. I know it's difficult to work and go to school at the same time though so be prepared to work hard. ( I am a 20yr. college student working full time). I would also suggest trying different things and researching what you want to do. Talk to people who do things that seem interesting to you and you'll figure it out sooner or later. And remember you can always change your mind. In fact, most people go into a completely different career than what their bachelor's degree is in. So, good luck!

  2. You're lucky your asking yourself these questions at only 20 years old. Good for you. Why don't you think of the type of work you would like to do, then pursue that type of work in school or through changing your job? You can always go to school part time if money is an issue, or if you are not completely sure of the program you want to start. Think about aspects of your current job that you like, or things you think you may like to do long term - that may help you narrow down a specific career path. Search on-line for the job you would like to have. Then, look at the job requirements/ job qualifications and  use that to determine what type of program you should get into or what type of work experience you should be looking into. I wish I had done this at age 20.

  3. If you are 20 and your father is not a bank director you probably feel life's teeth in your neck.Apply for something that you are capable of managing with. For example if you are exceptionally good at Math and Physics you know what to do; if you are great at biology or chemistry...if you are good at literature and philosophy again

When you are stable and don't have to worry about earning a living (if I worry I find it hard to exist, not to mention being able to practice what my heart desires) then you can start doing what you long for.

That's exactly the advice I didn't listen to but I have no regrets because I won other battles. As long as you stay true to yourself you can party in h**l.If you betray yourself you will burn in heaven!
