right now i have no money for braces so i am trying to save up for them. i need them on just my top set of teeth and i am going to have to settle for the metal ones cause the nearst invisalign provider is almost an hour away. do you think it would look weird for a 23 year old to be wearing train tracks? i plan on getting either white or silver none of those real bright noticable colors. my teeth aren't horrible, but since i got my wisdom teeth in they are a little messed up ( wisdom teeth are removed now). thanks!

  1. WHEN YOU'RE READY GET THEM. THIS WILL BE THE BEST INVESTMENT IN YOUR HEALTH YOU MAKE.

  2. honestly i have seen several. and if people make a fuss about it just know you will have a bright beautiful smile soon!

  3. If you are looking to save money and still go to a dentist you are comfortable with you could sign up for a dental discount plan. We have thousands of providers, including orthodontists that are a part of our plan. You should check out this website, It is not insurance but a medical/dental discount plan. It allows you to get discounts for dental, vision, chiropractic, prescription and physician visits. The plans start at $14.95 for individuals.  If you have any other questions about the plan you can email me. If you would like me to, I could check the participating dentists in that area, but I would need a zip code or address. Let me know! Good Luck..

  4. 20 years old here. i wouldn't think you look weird, just get it done with already. you will be really happy and confident. peace.

  5. 23 year old is not at all old for getting braces. you may stand out a little but bad teeth is MUCH more noticable than braces. plus it can't hurt that the result is perfect teeth. = ) in the end, train tracks are better than a hole in your mouth thats not suppose to be there. and you will find your self much more self confident

it doesnt really matter what colour you pick for the braces, the metal brace is eventually going to get thicker and thicker to the where the colour  doesn't matter. but at the beginning, if your teeth are white, than pick white, if your teeth are silver, than pick silver.

  6. hi, i got my braces when i turned 41 at the recommendation of my dentist. I will get them off in about 6 months. no body really ever says anything about them.
