Question:

I'm 23 dpo am I pregnant?

My husband and I are actively trying to conceive. I've been charting my cycle, taking my basal temp every morning and used an opk, so I know exactly when I ovulated. We had s*x the day before and the actual day of ovulation. It's been 23 days since then, and my period is 7 days late. However, I have not had a positive pregnancy test. I had a little bit of spotting at 11 dpo, so I thought I was going to have a period and I never did. Is this normal? Is it possible that I could be pregnant and just need to wait another week or so? I'm concerned that maybe my hormone levels are way off. However, I feel perfectly normal and my cycle has been consistent for at least three months, it's been 39 days long, ovulation on day 24 and a period 15 days later. Any suggestions or advice would be much appreciated.

  1. def. take an hpt! you should have an accurate result now....it does seem your cycle is a bit on the long range so talk to your doc. to make sure everything is ok, you can also ask a doctor online for free about this, try www.FertilityTies.com
