Hi!! Yes, start at Yellow pages looking for a big company, or firm in your area and get in touch with them direct to see if they have an apprentice scheme. Most of them do and are keen to enlist new staff to be trained. In England there is a serious shortage of plumbers, therefore i presume that Scotland may have the same trouble.  You have nothing to lose by trying.
