I'm 30 weeks pregnant and only gained 6 pounds so far?

Question

is that babd or should i be gaining more.

the ultrasound tech said the baby is 3 lbs so far.

My baby is also 3lbs so far and I have only gained 8lbs. pre pregnancy weight for me was 135. My dr says it is fine. The 8lbs I have gained is recent because I list 11 pounds in my 1st trimester due to morning sickness. As long as the baby is growing and moving regularly not to worry. good luck!

Don't worry you get really big in the last month I only put on 10lb and that was all in the last 6weeks.

If you had morning sickness this is normal! I wouldn't worry about it unless you are doing something to keep from gaining weight. You still have 2+ months left! I gained all my weight with my first child in my seventh month ugh! Good luck hun

just consider your self lucky!!! i gained 51 lbs but lost 35 of it so far but i wouldnt worry if the doc doesnt worry then you shouldnt!! 3lbs thats good girl when i was 27 1/2 weeks pregnant my baby weighed 2lbs and 5 oz!!! so you and your lil one are doing good!! congrats your almost there!!!!!!

Wow you are all baby then . Really you should be gaining more but you may be one of those that gains all their weight later in pregnancy. My starting weight was 127lbs and have only gained 19lbs total and I'm going into 38 weeks. What did your Dr say - are they concerned ?

I wouldn't worry as long as the doctor isn't concerned. Every woman's pregnancy is different.

theres nothing to be worried about. the baby is only three pounds and its only 30 weeks and your baby might just be small. but no to small. make sure because of your worries you dont eat a lot of junk to gain weight this would be the worst choice for the baby and yourself.

YOu are ok, everyone is different! but wow and lucky you! However, you still have 2+ month to go.. I gained 4 lbs in my 8th months alone...

You don't have anything to worry about.  My doc didn't say anything about my weight gain he actually said everything is looking excellent so far.  Well I'm 36 wks and 4 days, I've only gained 8 lbs this entire pregnancy!!
