I have extreme pain in my left pubic bone like a bruise, and I KNOW what causes it, it's just constant pain every step of everyday I take and I want to cry every time I walk. Can anyone relate and help me out with what I can do to aleviate some of the pain...no meds please...maybe stretching techniques?

  1. I hate to tell you this but there isn't much you can do.  My doctor told me to sit on the floor with my heels pressed together in the butterfly position.  But honestly the pressure may not go away until the baby is born.  Try to avoid standing and lay on your side as often as possible, that's the only thing that worked for me.

  2. same thing for me on my left high inner thigh i limp myself.. and also pains and aches everywhere else. dont know why i guess comes with pregnancy even my fingers hurt.

btw the whole pillow thing dont work, i had such pain pain in my left leg last night i had to sleep with my leg like a frog.

  3. This is caused by your connective tissues softening ready for the birth of your baby, it's quite normal and nothing can be done about it. Just rest up and don't do anything that aggravates it.

  4. with my first son i fell and pulled my groin muscle reallyit hurt for a year after i gave birth. With my 2nd son it hurt towards the end and now with my 3rd son i'm 37 weeks and it's hurting. I know what u mean by hurts every step. it even hurts when i lay down sit down or anything. my doc told me to take tylon but im noI'ma big fan of meds in less i HAVE to. Yesterday it hurt so bad i was crying i took 2 tylon and it didn't even touch the pain. So i gave up on med.s I found the only way i can sleep is with my legs spearspearedapart and a heating pad on it. Alot of ppl will say heating pads arent ok. That's only if you have it on ur tummy. it's fine on u groin on low or medummedium

  5. Try doing some squats to try to get more movement.  Or pelvic thrusts.  Also try laying with a pillow between your legs and stay off your left leg/hip for a few nights.  If it gets to bad, talk to your doctor.

  6. I am 23 weeks now and I have huge pain in my legs. I read that this could be caused by varicose vein developing due to pregnancy and constant walking. i do spend lots of time on my legs and I noticed last night that on the back of my leg one of my veins is starting to pop out. Since you are hurting more up - i read that varicose veins could develop in the pubic area (i don't know how you would see it there without your doctor checking it) - so that is a possibility!!!!You might try to check in the mirror and if you don't see anything call your doctor to double check. Try to sit/lay down more and ELEVATE your legs. Sleep with a pillow under your legs and try not to cross your legs while sitting. Oh the joys of pregnancy! God Bless!
