  1. the period like cramping could quite possibly be braxton hicks contractions which are fake contractions getting your body ready for the real thing.... and if the sharp pain is near ur ribs when you breathe it could be ur bub in a position with it's feet under ur ribs!

  2. Is  your tummy tightening up?  Next time you feel the cramps feel your tummy and see if it is hard.  could be pre labor pains or it could be labor pains.  time them.  If in doubt call doc and see what he says

  3. if its only happening every time you breath or move its most likely not labor contractions.

could just be gas or air trapped somewhere.

if they are consistant in length and increasingly get worse, go to the hospital to get checked.

  4. Well call ur dr and let them know. The only thing I can tell you is it might be the babys foot there and that is hurting you. always be alert...but never affraid!! I would still call my dr though. good luck & god Bless u both!!!!!!!!

  5. Pain on your right side during pregnancy should always be reported immediately.  It's very likey that it is just a pulled muscle, but it can be a sign of some more serious pregnancy related complications such as preeclampsia.  I think you should go in to L&D to be checked right away.  Hopefully, it's nothing, but better safe than sorry.

For the record, other symptoms of preeclampsia are sudden swelling in hands, feet and especially the face, headaches, and visual problems.

  6. ooo i thought you said u were camping...

i was gunna what the h**l y do u have a computer with you if u are camping

  7. Could be contractions. When in doubt call your doctor.

  8. Could be a pulled muscle, but like everyone else recommends, you should call your midwife or doctor and ask their opinion.

I just thought I'd let you know that I was born at 36 weeks (in 1981!) and never suffered a single problem- I was in an incubator for a couple of weeks with jaundice, but was totally fine otherwise. Weighed over 8lb, too. Just in case you have an impatient baby too! Good luck.

  9. It's probably just a strained muscle (the poor things are rather stressed at this point), or it could also be false labor (Braxton-Hicks contractions), but those are usually more overall, not in one place.

It also sounds like it could be placental abruption (placenta tearing away from the uterus).

Go to the emergency room or urgent care clinic NOW just in case. It could save your life and that of your child, in case it is not just a strained muscle. Even if it is just a strained muscle, it's still worth it just in case.

  10. Go to the Er right away...it may just be nothing but it may be an emergency, especially if you feel pressure in your vaginal area.  Hurry up and go!  Hopefully its nothing, but at least you'll know.  Best of luck!
