I think it's water retention as I have swollen ankles and feet, however, it is really painful. When I try to clench my fist, my hand snaps back open as though it has a mind of its own! I've researched this in my pregnancy books and it keeps pointing to preclempsia which I know is the worse case scenario

  1. Poor circulation maybe?

Definitely check in with ur doc about that!

  2. I feel you I have numbness in my hands and sometimes feet I hope it's not serious either but when I go to the doctor I am so excited to hear or see my baby I forget to complain about the numbness

  3. If you get pins and needles with it it would be carpel tunnel syndrome which is due to the weight gain and a pinched nerve in the wrist. I had this with my second child and as my doctor said, it should disappear after birth - not necessarily straight away but soon after,

  4. I think you should see a doctor.

  5. I would definitely bring this to your doctor's attention ASAP - I've only had one child, but I don't think this is normal.
