I'm 36 years old. Sometimes I have dreams that I'm back in high school. In my dreams, I'm very much aware that I'm dreaming. I think to myself, "I've already done this before, why am I back here?" I feel a sense of dread, bu sometimes I feel a glimmer of hope, as if I can start over and do things right.

Occasionally in these dreams, I realize that I'm naked. Then I'm walking around the school frantically searching for my clothes, completely embarrassed that I'm unclothed.

I have the naked dream less often. More often I just have the dream that I'm back in high school and I feel a sense of dread and (as I said) sometimes a sense of hope. What does it mean?

  1. the naked thing is probably vulnerable, exposed.

Was there something left unfinished in high school?

sometimes when we leave it unfinished, it visits us when we're most vulnerable, at night.

like unforgiveness, or something we didn't face or deal with then.

and sometimes when I have a dream I can't quite figure out, I take out

the situation and just circle the emotion words and see if they fit.

sometimes it's the emotions apart from the actual dream.

    hope it helps.

    peace.

  2. I think you have answered the question, you know that if you went back to school or stayed at school life may have turned out better.

So maybe life is not as good as it could of been had you got a better education.  Maybe it's time to go back to school. Maybe through a college or TAFE, I went to TAFE and then UNI after a 20 year break from school 2nd best thing I ever did.
