I'm 5' 7'': Would a Honda CRF 450 be Good for My Height?

Question

I went to the dealer. I saw a Honda CRF 230. It was quite high. I thought I was not going to be able to flat foot the ground, but to my surprise (it was my first time on a dirt bike) I was actually able to completely flat foot the ground because the suspension is so sensitive. I'm 5' 7'', 130 lbs.

Would a Honda CRF 450 fit me? Thanks.

The 450 is much taller than a 230. There is no reason on earth for a 130 pound guy to be on a 450 unless you are a top notch racer. Trust me, you will be trying to sell or trade it within a month. If you will be riding trails get the 230, if you want to try some motocross get the CRF250, but stay away from the 450, these are for very experienced racers only!!

probibly not, depends on the year..generaly the older the bike the bigger it is, i got a 1993 RM 125 and it is just about the same size as a 2007 RM 250, but a 450 i think it a bit much for you, i'd stick with a 250 at the biggest, and you said its your first time on a dirt bike? do you ride modercycles? if not a 450 is compleatly too much power for a first dirtbike, but if you ride already then its no problem..but a 450 is a termendes amount of puwer for any trail or track...most professionaly race with 250's they dont even go to 450's unless they do freestyle..

physically, you could sit on it and be able to hold it up on flat ground if you set the sag low enough,  but an inexperienced rider has no business on a 450 race bike, so no it wouldn't "fit" you

if you are a beginner, you don't wont to go for a crf 450, they may be a four-stroke but there resenably fast. if you are a begginer i would go for a cr125 or a crf230 but trust me dont just get a bike because of the higher number.

i think the cr125 rides better than the crf230.
