I was considering purchasing a Kawasaki Ninja 250R, but I'm afraid that I'm too small. Am I?

  1. You could probably ride the old one, but the new one is taller. You can allways have it lowered, and for most sport bikes, that's what you will have to do. I have a friend at work thats about your height. She rides a lowered SV-650, so it can be done. Have it done by a professional so they get the handling right.

  2. Can you put both feet on the ground while sitting in the seat and your hands on the bars,if so your good to go.

  3. you really need to touch the ground with both feet.... something they check at the dmv

  4. Conventional wisdom on the old style Ninja 250 is that a 5'1" rider can pull it off suitably. For the brand new version, you will probably want to go sit on one in the showroom to see if you can (mostly) flatfoot it. Check out the link / rider FAQ below... it should help you lots!

  5. yeah buddy.
