  1. do it sounds like you would have more fun there maybe get an extra belt at tkd at ur promotional just so u can always add that to a resume and find out if it is good bjj but yeah go for it even if it is bad it can heklp u transition to the world of mma better than tkd but if u are more interested in noing art or kickboxing stick tkd

  2. you are not strong. 230 for 187 is not strong. Benching does not equal strong in a fight.

  3. To be honest any school that will let you test for a belt after just two weeks is garbage.  I am a believer in all martial arts.  They are all efficient if taught correctly.  But two weeks, is no time at all for any respectable belt promotion.  The first thing I would do is leave that school.

I have been in the martial arts for over 10 years.  My dad is in the military and I have lived in Hawaii, Italy and everywhere in between.  therefore I have trained in many arts because I had to make due with what is available where I lived.  I once walked into a dojo and after they saw my abilities from previous schools they said they would give me a black belt in less than a year.  I did not come back to that school after my first visit.

And when it comes to combat efficiency you are more built to be grappler so bjj/judo/sambo would be more ideal. Since you are strong, short with a low center of gravity that is ideal for throwing people around and locking them up. But ultimately it is not what you know but how well you know it, therefore your instructor is the most important component of all.  Therefore being in a school that considers for belt testing after two weeks should concern you.
