  1. Well, cramping is normal in pregnancy as your uterus is growing and changing to accomodate the baby.  But if the cramps are really bad and there is any bleeding, you should definitely call your doctor.  You would not be able to feel the baby moving around at 5 weeks pregnant, it's about the size of a grain of rice (or smaller) at this point.  Eat healthy - fruits, veggies, protein and take a prenatal vitamin, which you can get from any drugstore.

  2. Shouldn't there only be a gestational sac appearing on the ultrasound?

    Definitely more than McDonalds!!!

  3. I went through the same thing around 3 weeks of being pregnant. It's completely normal as long as you don't have any bleeding . The cramping is cause by your stomach muscles  expanding, this will create more room for the baby to grow. They will go away in the next couple days to 2 weeks. (That's the way it was for me). Drink alot of water and just relax. Once you see your doctor ask for vitamins to help the baby grow. Plus they also help with morning sickness. Good luck

  4. Always take your prenatal vitamins. But I would go see the doctor.
