I'm 5 foot 8 1/2 - how much should i aim to weigh?

i'm 5 foot 8 1/2 - if i want to have a similar build to victoria secret models, ie not string bean skinny, but with curves & toning, how much should i aim to weigh?

i currently weigh 144 pounds - just had a baby & want to get fit and healthy again.

  3. Just look up BMI chart on google and look up your weight to see if it is healthy . The average weight for someone your height is about 123 - 163 . But if you want to look like that I would say 125 - 135 .

Your current weight is just right.  Some aerobic exercises, a daily run of twenty minutes and a thrice-weekly swim down at the "Y" would get you in top physical condition in about six weeks.  And how you'd find the time to do all that while dealing with a new baby in addition to all the usual distractions such as housework, career, husband, is something you may not yet have figured out...Anyway: those Victoria's Secret models look good to many of us guys, but in fact, someone who's lighter and more toned will, on average, outlive them by as much as twenty years.  The women I pay most attention to are those who're most likely to remain healthy and vibrantly alive through two or three kids, even if she does not have a "chest" to die for...I suggest you are quite fit and healthy already; all you need do is a bit of fine tuning!

  5. Calculate your Body Mass Index. If it is 25 or below your fine.
