I'm not sure what size shortboard I should get. I've had a couple year break from surfing and was just able to do small cutbacks on my 6'2 board when I stopped. Can anybody tell me what size i should get and/or whether you think the Al Merrick's are over-priced or worth their cost???

  3. Hi there,

I have owned 3 of Al's boards.. they are pricy but worth every penny... I have one that stays with me till I die... finding the right board for your size, style and wave is a vary tough thing... Some guys spend thousands and years looking and learning. Over all the AM boards are vary good. You may want to look into the epoxy boards to as they hold up longer and take more abuse...

Happy hunting its winter time now get out there...
