Because Sonny Liston was 6'1 and his reach was 84", so i don't understand why mine is 70", it's ridiculous.

it'd be perfect if my reach was between 75" and 80" ...

how can i achieve that? thanks in advance

  1. Wear platforms ...

  2. that is just how your built. you'll just have to learn to use your body the way it is. there is no such thing is growing longer arms

  3. Here's the big reason why there's a different in reach between you and Liston: Since you only weigh about 150 pounds and Liston was well over 210 pounds, the difference in measurements would come mainly from the torso width. Remember when measuring from finger-tip to finger-tip, the upper body is included in the measure.

I will say that I do find your measurements strange for your height, considering I'm only 5'11" with a 77" reach from finger-tip to finger-tip and an arms length of 30".

  4. Maybe you have T-rex arms, hey it happens!

  5. there is no way to change it, thats the skeletal structure of your body. just work with what you have, short arms means stronger hooks, your reach is only a few inches short of joe frazier's, and he kayoed guys with arms going into 80 inches like liston (although he never fought liston)

  6. Perhaps it is because your arms are growing out of your hips.

  7. some people have short arms; it's the body you were born with and you have to accept it. you can't change your bone structure.

  8. well first 26" arms aren't all that long. Secondly Sonny Listen was 84 measured middle finger to middle finger, and that mug was wide as a house. You may just need a sandwich or two. Average reach from finger to finger is approx your height. Your  height is 74 inches, so that is about right. maybe a little short on the reach. But you can't change that. Some people are born with broad shoulders and wide chest others get a swirlie.
