  1. First off graduate from high school.  Then talk to the recruiters.  Your future is your choice.  That's one of the great things about being an American.  YOU choose.

  2. To be a good Pilot your vision has to be top notch, and you need to be really smart and really ******* dedicated. You need to have 20/20 vision or at least correctable to 20/20. If I were you I'd bust my *** in school because as long as you have the grades and you're good with math and such, you won't have much to worry about. The reason I say you need really good grades, is so that way you can go to College for four years, and then you would join the Air Force as an officer. In order to be a Pilot, you need to be an officer. You can also go to OCS (Officer Candidate School) but I'm not sure on how that works.

But yeah, if you really like the idea of becoming a Pilot, stick with it and do good in school. You're only sixteen though so you might change your mind a thousand times as to what you want to do. I'm about to turn seventeen but I'm a Senior, supposed to be a Junior but w/e and I'm 99.9% sure I'm gonna join the Marines. Originally I wanted to be a Pilot, but I don't know how good my vision is and I also really like the Marines.

Either way its up to you buddy, but you still have PLENTY of time. Just remember to do good in school, and stay in shape to.

  3. Get a Degree...Period...

If not you will not get very far in the AF...

  4. If you grow any more you'll only be flying cargo and special mission aircraft.  The height restriction for fighter pilots is 6'2 with a waiver I think they allow 6'3 however any taller then that and you won't fit in the cockpit.  Also for safe ejection out of aircraft if need be they won't just let you cram yourself in there.  Being tall you won't have the flexibility needed to operate the needed equipment in the cockpit.  Sucks, but so goes life.

  5. wait til you're eighteen and talk to the recruiters

  6. air force (dont do marines) your gonna need a GED or high school dimploma (fyi).... i think it will be good for you.. keep you out of trouble, build character and help you towards a better future.. good luck :)

  7. I dunno, but maybe you should eb a catwalk model at that height.

  8. well if you want to become a pilot you will have to become an officer. Enlisted airmen do not fly planes. So i would suggest that you talk to a recruiter soon but be careful they will just try and tell you its easier to join enlisted then go officer which i guess can be true in some cases. i think you need some kind of college degree before you can become an officer in the military. you can become an aerial gunner but i really don't know anything about them besides they fly in helicopters and shot stuff. there a tons of different jobs you can do in the airforce its not just flying planes and shooting. As for the marines they are really hard core and they deploy alot. im not sure if im allowed to say how long they get deployed for but ill just say its a really long time. Also if it helps your decision officers get paid alot more money then the enlisted force.
