  1. I suppose it depends on what you want out of it. If you're asking what would be comfortable to ride, I'd look over 1000cc. Maybe around 1500. I think anything less than that would be a bit small for someone of your size (I'm 5' 10", 170, I ride 900cc Honda Shadow and feel perfectly comfortable, could upgrade to 1100cc without really any discomfort) and it'll affect performance a bit on the smaller bikes. If you can, test ride it before you buy it. Make sure you can ride it comfortably.

  2. The bigger the better.

  3. I'm 6'2" and 270, and I'd hate to ride anything smaller than a HD touring bike or softail. The metric touring bikes all have models large enough for me, also.

  4. go to the dealers and sit on the bikes. If it fits wear it, if not leave it be. Don't get caught up in engine size so much worry more about how the bike feels.

  5. No stock bike will fit you if you have over a 32" inseam... do you fit in a corvette? The only production bike that will fit you is a Longbow... specially built softail frame with HD motors. My avatar is their SE model... I am 6'4" and 285.

  6. It's like wearing pants. You might want to try a few on before buying one. When you find one that fits right, you will know it.

I would try a road king first.

  7. man,for your height and size, i reckon you'll look good on a harley.Dont go for anything smaller coz you gonna look like a bear on a chimp. If you think you still dont look good on a harley, drive a rig.And yea.., once you get your harley, strip all your shirt of its sleeves and ride it with your armpit hair flow ing with the wind.

  8. I have to agree here, Hogs fit big folks

A lot of the ricers and euros are just too small after 6ft
