Six days late, under "normal" circumstances, is not too early to find out.  Some HPT's can detect up to a week early.  But like I said, under "normal" circumstances.  I have heard that for some it takes longer for the hcg to show up in their system.  Depends on you and your body.  Try taking a HPT.  I would probably recommend a 2 pack, one for now and if its neg, a spare for later.  Good luck to you either way.
