  1. Agnostic means that you don't really believe in any one idea but you don't really not believe - it's kind of like you will just wait and see.

People assume you don't care, and they can't stand that someone isn't really interested, or doesn't worry about what will happen to them in the afterlife.

Just ignore them - tell them they can live their lives the way they want, and you will live your life the way you want, and leave it at that - don't get upset, but you don't have to listen to their lectures either.

  2. When I told my class mates that I have accepted Jesus Christ as my Saviour I had offended a lot of people, but that didn't stop me from being a Christian. Be who you want to be, if it is working for you.

  3. ignore people like "Wee" Joe Citizen who obviously do not know what agnostic means, or that one can be either atheist or theist and agnostic, seeing how they tackle different subject matter (belief and knowledge).

people are dumb, and cannot seem to understand what an agnostic is.  just ignore them as best you can.

here is a definition:   a person who holds that the existence of the ultimate cause, as God, and the essential nature of things are unknown and unknowable, or that human knowledge is limited to experience.

  4. It is God's wish that no one remain ignorant of His truth.  .Do you think He would exclude you?  Read the Conversations with God books by Neale Donald Walsch and prove the existence of God..  Problem solved... God bless

  5. It don't make any difference to me what you are, I can not change you, only God can.

  6. Fireball : you need to go to the mental health section , good luck

because they are intolerant and ignorant .

  7. They're probably just bored!I think what you have done so far which is go about your business and not explain yourself is a good way to deal with people when you obviously haven't done anything to bother them. Its a good way for them to feel superior to you although I cant imagine a reason for it.I am agnostic too and its not a closed deal, its a way of saying I don't know one way or the other but I'm thinking about it.I guess you should be content in the knowledge that you ARE still thinking about it and aren't allowing yourself to be spoon- fed one way or the other

  8. "To doubt means to think.

Doubt itself rests only on what is beyond doubt.

    Doubt comes only after belief."

Agent Smith: I would recommend you tell your friends (truthfully) that you are thinking a lot about God.

    Hope this helps.

    God love you!

  9. I don't know.....and CAN you know even if you do get an answer?

  10. The nature of the "beast".  They feel for you.  you are on the wrong path.  you do not understand.  That my side, you don't understand religion, it is all....c**p, no cense, stupid, to much fanatics.  Thats me when I was 15 to 19.  For me I found the LDS, none of that stuff.  But that's me.

  11. People are often brought up not to accept people who are not like them, and it is a real shame, the greater shame is that they too will most likely bring up their kids the same way.

  12. I'm agnostic too...you can complain to your assistant principal (I'm assuming you're in high school?) and it's religious harrassment and they'll get in a lot of trouble for it.

  13. probably the same reason it bothers anyone who thinks they are right and that we shoudl all agree with them

    human arrogance and narcissism

and they cant just accept you because they are taught to make peopel agree with them, that thats the correct attitude, to try to convert people to their way of thinking due to their being so right

you are right to ignore them kyle, just let them jabber on and on, dont pay them no mind, ask that they respect your views and then move on

they are not worth your bothering about them

sorry its like that for you.but stay strong, and be who you are

    ;-)

  14. They are ignorant and assume the worst.

  15. it doesnt. Im married to one. He is so sweet..

this is relig...for pers probs see friends

  16. I doubt that any of them have any idea what it MEANS!

Kids NEED to feel superior (humans do, in fact) and they like to find ANYTHING that is different from them, and then pick on it.  Some people want to "save" you from yourself (I guess from yourself).

You can do one of a couple of healthy things.  You can tell the authorities at school that this is going on, and it will (hopefully) be addressed in a sensitive manner, which should make things more open and more comfortable for EVERYONE, allowing these kids to open their minds a bit, without singling anyone out, or you could just ignore it, knowing that it will eventually blow over, and they will soon enough turn to pick on someone else.  This, at least, is not antagonizing anyone, but it doesn't open the lines of communication, which should allow these people to become smarter, more educated, and more open minded and sensitive.  I would attempt the first.  (when I DID have problems like this, I did go the second...but that was a different time.  These things should no longer be tolerated by the adults, teachers and authorities around us...they should be told so they can address the situation),

  17. If you were a proselytizing agnostic, then that would bother me.

  18. I would suggest you get off the fence.

    Just my opinion.
