  1. Nothing really, you don't need a visa but what you do need is put on the form where you're going to sleep at, how long you want to be there and where you plan to visit. Just pack clothes for the winter, click on one of  these English dialect websites and you're ready to go...

  2. just a passport.you do not need a visa.enjoy your stay.

  3. You just need a passport. If you are going to stay there for more than 3 months then you will need a visa also.

  4. Just your US Passport.

You can use the waiver system. Just fill in the form on the flight.

That allows you to stay for up to 90 days. If you want to stay for longer you need a visa.

Remember the felony disclosure clause. If you have been convicted of a felony then you can't use the waiver system.

You might still get a visa but in this case get expert advice from the nearest UK Embassy.

  5. Yeah, you don't need a visa - and even if you did, don't bother with one - just arrive at customs in the UK, claim asylum and we'll give you free money, a free house, free healthcare, free electricity, and invite you to bring your entire family over with you. And we'll give them money as well.

God Bless the United Kingdom - a country in crisis.

  6. HI there,

Even I cant make out the UK government page - http://www.ukvisas.gov.uk/en/howtoapply/... have alook here it outlines who needs a visitor visa.

How long are you staying, is it just vacation or work?  Drop me an email via answers if you have otehr questions

  7. The US and the UK have an agree waiver visa scheme which means you just have to fill in immigration forms when you enter the UK. Stops criminals getting in so easily.

Fortunately for you, you won't get the fingerprint, retina photograph and mouth swab treatment like British people get when they enter the US. God Bless America.

  8. Just your passport (and lots of money - things are expensive here) for vacation trips of up to 6 months. If you were staying longer, studying, or intending to work, you'd need a visa. UK immigration officers will decide exactly how long you can stay depending on your answers to their questions, but there's no problem with ordinary vacations.

UK immigration people can be a little obstreparous at times, but they are as nothing compared to their US cousins who have a reputation worldwide as some of the nastiest immigration people to be found anywhere - even to their own citizens, so you will have that joy to discover on your way home!

  9. Just a passport I think.
