  1. pretty much always remember to tuck under and turn your foot out.i did ballet but i forgot it when i started back its pretty simple.take some classes you only need the basics probably.

  2. Have a look at this girl, she doesn't have any like advanced videos but there are some basic steps wich should help you.

  3. when are you auditioning?

the best thing that you can do is take classes. they are a tremendous help. if you don't really have the time to take classes between now and your auditions, then I'm sorry but i can't help you. it takes a little while to learn ballet.

  4. Here are the basics:

1st position: Your heels should be touching, with your feet and legs sharply out turned. Hold your arms in front of you in an oval shape.

2nd position: In second position, your feet are turned slightly outwards, a little more than shoulder length apart. Your arms should be stretched very far apart.

3rd position: You cross your heels, one slightly ahead of the other. Don't forget to cross your legs, too! Keep one arm as if you are in 2nd position, while the other is kept rounded in front of you.(This position is rarely used)

Open 4th position: Put your legs and feet out turned, with your heels lined up, one in front of the other. Keep a good distance between your feet. one arm should be curved above your head, while the other is outstretched by your side.

Closed 4th position: Place one foot directly in front of the other, while both are sharply out turned. Your arms should be the same as in open 4th.

5th Position: Your feet should be  fully crossed, turned outwards and pressed together. Your arms should be in an oval shape above your head.

Grande Plié: A deep swoop, all the while keeping perfect back and neck posture. This movement can be done in all  5  basic positions.

Arabesque: Leaving one foot one the ground, you raise  the other leg to a 90º  angle, making a straight line from the tip of your finger to the end of your big toe.

Tondue: A fairly simple position, extending a leg forward, while standing still with the other foot. Raise one arm in an arch, and let the other come out at the side.

Grande Jeté:A grand leap through the air, in a full out split, flying across the stage. This move is for advanced dancers.

In most auditions they do the basics. So hopefully you'll do good

Break a leg [in dance, it means good luck] :]
