Hi, I am driving over the border to buffalo with my driver's license and my birth certificate. Because I am driving over the border, and I will be flying domestically (to virginia), I still do not need a passport right?

  1. right..

  2. Nope, for a domestic US flight you only need government issued ID.  A colleague of mine took his family to Disney last year and they drove over the boarder to Detroit and caught the flight from there a little cheaper and less hassle at the boarder.

  3. You do need a passport. Get it you don't want to denied entry  into the U.S.
