  1. Potatoes are still very popular.

  2. The popular foods in ireland are all pretty normal. We have loads of chippers or fish and chip shops which are visited by nearly every irish person on a weekend night! Also Chinese food is very popular. At home though dinner is still very Irish, people generally still have potatoes with every meal and meat with some veg.... this however is starting to change with more and more foods becoming avialable due to the mass immigration we are experiencing. Oh and Sunday is as always a fry in the morning and a roast for dinner!!!

    Hope that helps.

  3. Chips with curry sauce on the top ;-)

  4. I thought ppl in Ireland just drank and never ate ;)

  5. corned beef and cabbage

  6. traditional dishes would be....

    Bacon & Cabbage

Irish Stew (lamb or beef with veg and potatoes cooked in gravy)

Sausage, Rasher, Eggs and Black & White Pudding (traditional irish breakfast)

But, to be honest, chinese, italian, thai....there's all really popular over here now, as are the local chippers, the greasy bag of chips and battered sausage....i'm getting hungry now!!

think that's pretty much it......lest i forget the best of them all, the cheese & onion tayto sandwich (tayto are potatoe chips)

Ok, i'm off to raid the fridge......
